short lore:

As a part of the most famous spear-wielding clan, Khorum family was famed as the greatest until their patriarch and best teacher/warrior was killed in a duel with a blade goddess. What remained was a shamed family with a few children who bear no advanced spear techniques or teachings. They were quickly surpassed by other families and are now just a symbol of once great war knowledge and power. They are respected only among the clan members itself.
